Use of Donde and Related Words for Where in Spanish

Use of Donde and Related Words for Where in Spanish Donde and related words and phrases are used in Spanish to indicate the concept of where. The different forms can be easy to confuse, and even native speakers dont always clearly distinguish between sound-alikes such as adonde and a donde. Here are the most common uses: Donde Donde typically functions as a relative pronoun following a noun or preposition. Its use is a bit broader than the English where, so it can sometimes be translated as which or in which. Note also that the English where often is used without a preposition even though the preposition is mandatory in Spanish, as the parenthetical words show: Es la casa donde nacià ³ mi madre. (Its the house where my mother was born.)El lugar donde vivimos nos hace quienes somos. (The place where we live makes us what we are.)Las escrituras son el espejo donde vemos el alma. (The scriptures are the mirror in which we see the soul.)Invierte tu dinero en donde està © tu corazà ³n.( Invest your money where your heart is.)No sà © de donde obtenà a ella el poder para ver el futuro. (I dont know from where she got the power to see the future. Note that the from in the translation could be omitted, while de in the Spanish sentence couldnt.)Fueron a donde estaban las chicas. (They went where the girls were. To in the translation is optional.)Viajo a donde los mapas terminan. (Im journeying to where the maps end.)Encontraron un lugar estratà ©gico desde donde se podà an controlar las caà ±ones. (They found a strategic place from which they could control the cannons.) Dnde Dà ³nde is similar to donde but is used in questions, indirect questions, and exclamations. If youre asking something that expresses the concept of where to and want to use the preposition a, use adà ³nde (see below), which is the equivalent of a dà ³nde, although the former is preferred. Note that dà ³nde without a preposition does not indicate movement:  ¿Dà ³nde comemos hoy? (Where are we eating today?_ ¿Dà ³nde en el web puedo crear mi cuenta? (Where on the web page can I create my account?) ¿De dà ³nde eres? (Where are you from?)No quiero saber dà ³nde has estado o que has visto. (I dont want to know where you have been or what you have seen.)i ¡Hacia dà ³nde vamos? (Where in the world are we going to?)No sà © dà ³nde est. (I dont know where he is.) Adonde Adonde usually functions as a relative adverb, typically following a location and followed by a verb of motion. Pueden escoger la escuela adonde quieren enviar a sus hijos. (You can choose the school where you want to send your children to.)Aquella es la playa adonde fuimos hace unos aà ±os. (That is the beach were we went to some years ago.)Estn en un remoto pueblo adonde viajaron para dar un concierto. (Theyre in a remote village where they went to give a concert.) Adnde Adà ³nde is used in direct and indirect questions to indicate motion toward a place:  ¿Adà ³nde vamos despuà ©s que morimos? (Where do we go to after we die?) ¿Adà ³nde sales con tus amigos? (Where are you leaving to with your friends?)No tengo la menor idea adà ³nde nos llevar. (I dont have the slightest idea where it will take us to.) Dondequiera Dondequiera (or, less commonly, adondequiera) is typically used as an adverb meaning anywhere, everywhere, or anyplace. It is sometimes spelled as two words: donde quiera. No habà a una escalera dondequiera. (There werent stairs anywhere.)Triunfaremos dondequiera que vamos. (We will triumph wherever we go.)Dondequiera que fue mi amigo, encontrà ³ problemas. (Wherever my friend went he ran into problems.)Dondequiera veo gente abrazandose y eso me hace sentir tan feliz. (Wherever I look I see people hugging each other than this makes me feel so happy.)Nos encontrarà amos caminando por dondequiera en el desierto sin propà ³sito ni direccià ³n. (We found ourselves walking everywhere in the desert without aim or purpose.) Although less common, donde sea is sometimes used in the same way: Irà © a donde sea que se me abra una puerta. (I will go to wherever a door opens for me.)Puedes comer saludable donde sea. (You can eat healthy anywhere.) For Beginners: What You Should Know First You can usually use  ¿dà ³nde? when asking where someone or something is. Use  ¿adà ³nde? when asking where someone is going:  ¿Dà ³nde est? Where are you? ¿Adà ³nde vas? Where are you going?

Another 3 Cases of Misplaced Modifiers

Another 3 Cases of Misplaced Modifiers Another 3 Cases of Misplaced Modifiers Another 3 Cases of Misplaced Modifiers By Mark Nichol Modifiers- phrases that provide additional information- are easily (and therefore often) misplaced, creating syntactical confusion. Here are three such sentences, each followed by a discussion and a revision. 1. I will follow up with some of the questions I did not have a chance to address in a future post. This sentence reads as if the writer presciently knows that he or she will be unable to address certain questions when he or she writes a subsequent post and will follow up at an even later time. What the writer means is that the questions will be addressed in a future post because he or she was unable to do so in the post in which the statement was written. That intended meaning is clearly stated in the following revision: â€Å"I will follow up in a future post with some of the questions I did not have a chance to address.† Even better, begin the sentence with the modifying phrase: â€Å"In a future post, I will follow up with some of the questions I did not have a chance to address.† 2. Most recently, a bill was proposed in Congress, dubbed the Financial Services Innovation Act of 2016, which seeks to create a financial services innovative office. Here, Congress is mistakenly given the name of a legislative act. But the parenthetical phrase in which the act is named pertains to bill, not Congress, so the phrase must appear immediately adjacent to the pertinent word: â€Å"Most recently, a bill, the Financial Services Innovation Act of 2016, was proposed in Congress that seeks to create a financial services innovative office.† (Alternatively, shuffle the sentence’s components around, keeping the appositives â€Å"a bill† and â€Å"the Financial Services Innovation Act of 2016† adjacent to each other, for this result: â€Å"Most recently, the Financial Services Innovation Act of 2016, a bill that seeks to create a financial services innovative office, was proposed in Congress.† 3. She and her husband started the firm that builds windows and curtain walls in their basement eleven years ago. The location of the phrase â€Å"eleven years ago† paradoxically implies that the firm continues to build the products at a previous point in time. However, the phrase refers not to when the construction occurred, but to when the company that does the construction began operations. It is best situated at the beginning of the sentence: â€Å"Eleven years ago, she and her husband started the firm that builds windows and curtain walls in their basement.† However, this sentence has another misplaced modifier that must be addressed- the windows and walls themselves were presumably not built in the basement; the point is that the company was started there, so further revision is called for. In this case, simply setting the phrase describing the purpose of the company off from the main clause as a nonessential phrase helps focus the sentence’s emphasis: â€Å"Eleven years ago, she and her husband started the firm, which builds windows and curtain walls, in their basement.† Want to improve your English in five minutes a day? 'An investigation in to why consumers may choose to buy a BMW as Essay

'An investigation in to why consumers may choose to buy a BMW as oppose to another brand of car' this could involve examinin - Essay Example An insight into the BMW brand BMW brand seeks to convey the message to consumers that BMW means â€Å"the ultimate driving machine,† and influence the behavior of the consumers. BMW has been successful in creating awareness and ‘esteem value’ of its cars and strengthened its position in the market over the period of time. BMW is synonymous with luxury car and treated as status symbol by the consumers. The brand equity has been built by branding efforts highlighting quality and excellence in performance of its products on a continuous basis. An overview of consumer behavior and the buyer decision making process This section will study and analyze the consumer behavior and its importance in marketing and give an overview of the buyer decision making process in relation to BMW cars. Cars are usually not purchased very often and cost a large amount of money – making them high investment purchases. Problem Recognition The consumer needs a car to travel socially and/or for work purposes/commuting; the need for a car is most likely an active problem (i.e. the consumer is aware that he/she needs a car) Information Search Potential customer researches different makes and models of cars and may look in to indirect competition such as public transport or bicycles. Evaluation of Alternatives The consumer will narrow the choices down until he/she come to a decision; the consumer will normally narrow down from makes that they are aware of, then ones that they would consider buying, then down to a small choice until they come to a decision. Purchase Decision The consumer will take in to account what their family and friends think of the car that he/she has decided to buy – consumers will also asses the risks involved with the purchase such as the financial and social risks. Post Purchase evaluation After purchasing, customers will continue to evaluate the car, this stage is vital to ensure future sales and promote brand loyalty for BMW. Effec tive after sales service plays an important role in enhancing the customer satisfaction. Symbolic Consumption Purchases carry symbolic meanings and can satisfy individual, social, or cultural needs. Driving a car that is perceived to be sporty, luxurious and exclusive can promote individualism and self esteem. Self-concept attached to the product helps to establish the user’s identity. In order for conspicuous consumption to be rewarded and thus maintained in society, individuals must attach symbolic meaning to products that infer something about their owner. This tendency to attach meaning to products is referred to as symbolic consumption. (Belk, Bahn and Mayer 1982; Belk, Mayer and Driscoll 1983). Symbolic consumption involves the owner as an encoder trying to communicate something about themselves through purchasing a product and a decoder who understands the symbolic message; for example: consumers may purchase an expensive car such as a 7-series BMW to show that they ar e well-off; although demographics such as age, gender and social class effect individuals' ability to form impressions about owners of cars. Research shows that children's ability to make inferences about others based on product ownership

Macbeth--a Tragic Hero Essay -- essays research papers

MacBeth In the play Macbeth by William Shakespeare, the character of Macbeth is discovered to be a classic example of a tragic hero. Macbeth is a very ambitious and courageous person who lets three main things turn him into a violent individual. Two of the points, which most greatly contribute to Macbeth’s fall, are the prophecy, which were told to him by the witches, and how Lady Macbeth influenced and manipulated Macbeth's judgment. These two factors along with his tremendous ambition to be king is what caused him to fall from a noble man who was loyal to his king to a violent man who would kill his king to become king! The prophecies, which were told by the witches, was one of the factors that contributed to the fall of his character. If the witches would not have told him that he was going to become the Thane of Cawdor, Thane of Glamis, and King of Scotland, maybe Macbeth would not have went on this killing rampage and maybe order would have still been in Scotland. The only thing the prophecies did was, boost Macbeth’s ambition to be king and to control the future. When the witches told Macbeth all these good things, Macbeth felt as if he could not be beaten. He felt as if every thing was going like he wanted it to. That is until he hears the apparitions. The influence of Lady Macbeth also contributed to the fall of Macbeth’s character. Lady Macbeth's character in the beginning reveals that she is a lovable person. We find out later that in actuality Lady Macbeth was...

“Dead Poets Society” essay Essay

What ideas about discovery are conveyed by Peter Weir’s ‘Dead Poets Society’ and one other text? The process of discovery has the ability to greatly impact an individual resulting in them having new ideas and perceptions on themselves and others. These ideas differ for all individuals as each has their own experiences and develops from them in unique and personal ways. This is clearly evident in the film ‘Dead Poets Society’ by Peter Weir as it is a text which significantly focuses on the concept of contrast. Throughout this concept viewers are allowed an in-depth demonstration of the protagonists Neil Perry and Todd Anderson’s negative and positive experiences which have been caused by their strive to achieve individualism after a new English teacher John Keating introduces his pupils to poetry and free thinking attitude. ‘Firework’ a song co-written and performed by Katy Perry is also a text which conveys that discovery is a proc ess that can lead to enlightenment and enable one to be more acceptant of who they once they disregard the socially constructed expectations that mass media communicates. Throughout Perter Weir’s ‘Dead Poets Society’ viewers are able to understand that discovery itself is a process of transformation that can lead to new ideas which in turn have positive effects on an individual. This can be seen in the scene where Professor Keating educates his students the act of conformity. When Keating states its definition as â€Å"the difficulty of maintaining your own beliefs in the face of others† the audience are able to identify the contrast between the professor Keating and principal Nolan’s attitudes and values towards educations throughout the mise-en-scene displaying Nolan in a small, dark and mysterious room caged by the large steel poles representing the strict and prestigious nature of the institution. This allows the audience to realise that the students are able to better develop their skills when allowed to be free from the forces of conformity the institution brings. When the students are told to find their â€Å" own walk† it clear that they do so to achieve becoming their own unique individual. Furthermore, during the ending of the film a full shot is utilised to capture the majority of students standing on their tables portraying the extent to which professor Keating has made an impact on his pupils. Earlier in the film Keating too stood on his table to â€Å"remind himself to look at things in a different way† hence it can be said that his student are following in his footsteps allowing the professor to depart from  the academy without any regret. Even though discovery may lead to new understandings and perceptions these may not result in positive ways but will also have the ability to result in negative outcomes for both individual and those closes by .As a result of Keating’s newly introduced philosophies, protagonist Neil Perry further endeavours to fulfil his passion and desire to become an actor however does so by forging his father’s signature on a consent form that would allow him to perform his act. When Neil’s father objects to him p ursuing his dreams, he is told that he will â€Å"go to Harvard and become a doctor†. Through the use of the low camera angle looking up towards his father, strong facial expression displaying authority and superiority are apparent. As a result viewers are able to comprehend that Neil is in no position to change or even slightly alter his father’s decision. However, when Neil’s mother advises that he â€Å"get some sleep† a close up of the individuals face presents a mysterious and worrisome smile resulting in the creation of suspense and confusion in the audience. The mise-en-scene displaying a weak and still hand behind a table centimetres away from a gun, viewers are able to reach the tragic conclusion of Neil Perry’s death in a confronting and unexpected way. ‘Firework’ a song co-written and performed by Katy Perry is a text which significantly exemplifies the experience of discovering something that has been concealed by of society and in particular the expectations that are constantly forced upon individuals through mass media that must be disregarded to proceed to the new finding. The music video features a number of characters overcoming numerous social issues such as body image, homosexuality, bullying, the effect of conflict between parents on their children and the acceptance of having a medical illness. Throughout the chorus the term â€Å"firework† is used to symbolise the spark inside all individuals that must first be â€Å"ignited† or in other words believed in to enable them to achieve their goals and accomplish their dreams. Additionally, fireworks are used as visual metaphors to represent the time when one becomes enlightened and acceptant of who they truly are regardless of what society expects of them. In conclusion, both texts ‘Dead Poets Society’ by Peter Weir and ‘Firework’ by Katy Perry complement each other in the sense that they both successfully provide the audience with diverse concepts and ideas of discovery. Whether they may be negative or positive,  each educates viewers in having varying ideas about the consequences that may be caused by ones decision after they access new, original understandings and perceptions of themselves.

Talented Tenth

The Talented Tenth by W. E. B. Dubois is a prime illustration of the twentieth century’s evolving opinions and problems. Dubois aids in demonstrating the developing propositions that helped inspire new advancement in the area of revitalizing the black race. The Talented Tenth was a speech intended to identify and explain the role of the ‘talented ten percentile’ of the black race in relation to its evolvement. It helps confirm the situation and its dire need for improvement. Dubois suggests that the black’s way of life could be positively adjusted by constructing a group of blacks composed of the top ten percent of ‘exceptional’ men. These men would be college-educated and would assist in renovating the somber state of the black race. They would aid in leading the blacks to salvation, through illuminating and validating their intellectual capability to whites. Proving this would also include Dubois’s intention to not only educate the blacks, but to enhance their sense of purpose and the character of each individual. Therefore, whites would have been exposed to the blacks competence in life, through Dubois’s ‘talented tenth’. This draft provided an idea that if pursued, an example and goal for black people would be available. The example, the ‘talented tenth’, would positively affect the lives of both whites and black. Therefore, Dubois’s speech was an indispensable document in the twentieth century. The Talented Tenth was a textbook model of the twentieth century on many levels. It clearly identified the problems, methods and suggestions to evolution to a positive way of life for the black race. What the ‘talented tenth’ consisted of and how it would carry the race to a better way of life were also discussed and analyzed in Dubois’s speech. The Talented Tenth compacts the twentieth century’s problems, solutions, ideas, and opinions into a neat package, making it a key literary draft in the history of the America.

Incan Empire Essays

Incan Empire Essays Incan Empire Essay Incan Empire Essay Afghanistan Opium Production October 1347, the Europeans were greeted with the black plague which wiped out about one third of the whole population in Europe nearly 20 million people. (History) Far before that in about 3400 B. C. the cultivation of the new age plague was being planted by the Mesopotamians which is known today as Opium. Present day, Afghanistan controls nearly 90% of all opium growth and distribution which is a $65 billion market. (Sites) Opium is a dried condescended form of poppy Juice which has a narcotic effect and if used in large doses it may be poisonous. Opium is most opularly found in Heroin, which is a street drug that was once used to sedate soldiers in war. Today Heroin controls the lives about 15 million addicted users worldwide, and in Afghanistan alone about 1 million users. This is due to the availability and cheap price of the drug throughout Afghanistan. (Sites). Just in the past three years Afghanistans poppy industry began resurfacing. And with Afghanistans ever increasing cultivation of the opiate producing poppy plant, we are seeing the effects of the cultivation and drug use getting worse. Thus making Afghanistan the biggest opium producer today. Addiction is a common thread for mankind everybody craves some form of something. Ranging from that cup of coffee you drink every morning to the television programs you watch at night, theres always a void that needs tending too. In Afghanistan however, the voids they face differ greatly from most Americans. Notoriously known for their rap sheet of wars the people of Afghanistan have been plagued by terrorism and the failure of their government for years. Creating a poverty ridden war traumatized environment for people to live in. Causing voids we as Americans so much take for granted such as income, clean water, and food. These everyday burdens have a heavy toll on the physical and mental well-being of many. Belittling them to succumb to the control of the pain killing derivatives of the poppy plant. Opium is no stranger to the afghan people, many users today have been addicted to the drug for years. l started to use the drug for pain relief after my husband died. says Mesoma, a 25 year old woman from Kabul, Afghanistan. (Cohen) That very response seems to be the common thread between addicts who try opium for the first time. It seems for a majority of users, opium helps them cope with something they lost. But why opium? And not a doctor prescribed drug? According to the World Health Organization or WHO Afghanistan has one of the worst health care systems worldwide. This is due to underfunding and neglect to their health care program, which has been an ongoing theme for years. (WHO). In saying that without the financial backing of the government for health care and the already struggling economy, many people dont have the money to treat their physical and mental illness. Which is when they turn to the cheap alternative heroin which is sold by the half gram for about $4 U. S. (Cohen) Ironically the same thing thats helping addicts ope with their problems is in turn causing them bigger problems in the end. A prime example is a 28 year old addict name Reza who was also a part of Anna o en CNN news report. Reza nad this to say using drugs made me leave my nome and my family, if I didnt use drugs I would have a family and a good life. Reza turned to drugs after a so called bad friend introduced him to heroin a year ago and hasnt stopped ever since. His last words for cameras were l would like to give up but at the moment I cant. (Cohen) Reza like many users has become so addicted to the potency of heroin that he no longer has control over the drug . With no money for food or the necessities to live addicts like Reza are beginning to flood the streets of major cities and abandoned buildings to find some type of shelter where they can shoot up and get high. As it stands it is estimated that one million or eight percent of Afghanistans population is addicted to opium. Lumahieu) And the thirty six percent increase of poppy cultivation could be to blame for this spike of users. And the worst is yet to come according to Gwen Lighter an author for the Moscow Times, she reports that after all foreign military forces depart in 2014 Opium will become the eading economic activity in Afghanistan. (Lighter). When this happens Afghanistans already struggling counter narcotics program will be under more scrutiny by farmers and Taliban and wi thout the backing of foreign forces. This may cause another potential rise in addicts due to the strengthen corruption within the Taliban and government. One potential solution thats got the world leaders stirring is the possibility of a Joined force operation of two countries such as Russia who has one of the worst Heroin addiction problems and the US to go in and defuse all turmoil appening in Afghanistan surrounding the Opium plague. (Lighter) The actuality of this actually happening is unknown. One thing we do know is as long theirs money to be had the opium will never stop flowing. Opium production in Afghanistan annually rakes in about $2 billion, which makes up about a tenth of Afghanistans economy. (Quraishi) What makes up Afghanistans rapidly growing opium production are farmers, the Taliban, and corrupt government officials. Afghanistans opium production first relies heavily on farmers. Before poppy, Afghanistan had their fair share of wheat farmers. But once they found out that poppy could make them 10 times more money than wheat could they began growing poppy. In 2012, there were about 200,000 farm families that grew 90 percent of all the worlds opium. Quaraishi) And with the rapid increase within the past year the number of farm families may have significantly risen. The average bottom of the business farmer makes about $2,500 which is still more than most Afghanistan families earn. Which is why many farmers are turning to the Taliban for help. In the documentary Opium brides they share stories of farmers who borrow money from rug lords to manifest thei r own poppy in hopes of earning money for their families. But when the government driven eradication programs come in to sweep out their crops they become in debt with the drug lords. When this happens and the farmers cannot pay back debts the Taliban begin kidnapping the farmers daughters to sell as brides for the Taliban. (Quraishi) Many farmers are outraged about the eradication because of the debts they will have to owe. Some farmers even believe that the same officials eradicating their crops are the ones splitting up seeds among themselves to sell. It is a harsh reality but farmers need to do what they have to, too survive. While, the poppy production funnels in $2 billion annually for the country. The rest of the $4 billion of the $6 billion industry is being put into the hands of the Taliban who control these grow ops and heavily tax and drive up opium prices tor buyers outside of the country. With this money the Taliban can continue to strengthen their forces and become an ever lingering problem within the Afghanistan community. Making them a more lethal threat too many including the US. The worse part about all of this s that the government is in on the whole thing, making the issue more difficult to fix. Based upon my investigation of the Opium problem in Afghanistan I see two trends that for see this industry to grow more than it already is. The two main reasons for this go back to the backbone of what makes up this business, the money and the addicts. The demand of Opium throughout the world will never stop growing for the simple reason of addiction. Once addicts begin using its a known trend throughout my investigation that is extremely hard to shake. With that said the demand will forever stay high. Making for virtually a never ending need of opium. Meanwhile suppliers or Afghanistan at this rate cant stop because they got the bitter sweet taste of income. Which feeds not only the corrupt but the country as a whole. They would be looking at a 10 percent decrease of national income to their which would be a terrible blow to an already struggling economy. Which brings me to the conclusion that this problem will forever linger throughout the existence of Afghanistan. In saying that although the opium market will never be stopped, the efforts to slow down opium production and addiction is being discussed critically worldwide today. Bibliography 1. Black Death. Worst Roommate Ever How to Get Along and Co-Exist

Worst Roommate Ever How to Get Along and Co-Exist Many times, you dont get to choose your roommate if you live in a dorm. While its possible to change rooms or request a new roommate, the process is difficult and can only be used if theres a serious problem. So before you track down the RA and stir up a world of drama, try some of these tips to get along. Clear The Air The first step to getting along with your roommate is to clear the air and get all the past drama out of the way. This is best accomplished if you take the first step and begin with a peace offering. Whether its picking up their favorite take-away dinner or just sharing a bottle of wine, approach the discussion with an open mind and a smile on your face. Be prepared to take responsibility for anything youve done to make the problem worse – this isnt an argument to be won, its a way to simply clear the air and start fresh. You Dont Have to Be BFFs Theres always a vague notion that your college roommate will become your new Best Friend. The two of you will embark on this journey of personal, spiritual and intellectual growth, a bond will form and youll be developing a friendship that nurtures you for the rest of your life. While TV movies and sitcoms paint the picture, the reality is that most students go through at least one year of living with someone they simply cannot stand. Accept that you dont have to like each other – you just have to live together. Set Clear Boundaries Once youve cleared the air and accepted that the two of you dont need to become besties, you can lay down some clear boundaries. You cant stand it when your roommate lets their dirty laundry pile up so high the place smells like a giant armpit and your epic World of Warcraft sessions drive them up the wall. So your roommate agrees to do laundry more often or get a hamper with an airtight lid and youll need to start using earphones and not shouting at the screen when you play. Be willing to compromise and be willing to get everything out in the open now. Dont nitpick or try to force your roommate into conforming to everything you want without being willing to make some changes yourself. The goal is to find a compromise – a way for the two of you to share the same space, nothing more. Discuss the problems youve had as well as potential problems. Set up clear and definitive rules for drinking or smoking in the room having overnight guests noise levels for music, TV, video games, etc keeping the room clean If the thought of discussing any of this makes you uncomfortable, just imagine how uncomfortable youll be when your roommate decides to play Rock Band at 3am. Get Moving One of the simplest ways to deal with not wanting to be around your roommate is, of course, to just not be home when they are. If possible, stagger your classes for the afternoon if theirs are in the morning. Work odd shifts, hang out with friends more often or just get out and have fun on campus. If youre not naturally an active our outgoing person this may be difficult at first but spending less time in your room and more time outside will probably make your college experience better all around. Consider it a Life Lesson Getting along with people is something youll have to do for the rest of your life. While its unlikely that youll have to live with someone you dont like once youre out of college, learning how to deal with a difficult person without constant conflict is a skill that will serve you well for years to come. Its also important to know when to cut your losses. If the problem you have with a roommate involves them bullying, harassing or otherwise directly interfering with your life then its time to move from diplomacy to decisive action. Never attempt to act on the issue yourself. Immediately enlist the help of your RA or other dorm administrator to handle it. Typically problems with a roommate dont escalate to that point and learning how to handle difficult people can be an invaluable skill in the future. Learning to deal with a difficult roommate in college can easily hone diplomatic skills that will allow you to withstand even the most irksome work colleague in the future. Dealing successfully with a difficult roommate is a lot like dealing with difficult family members – you dont get to choose them but you do have to put up with them. Luckily for you, the time youll spend with a roommate will come to an end eventually but those bothersome family members will still turn up for Thanksgiving at Aunt Doras. How have you solved roommate problems in the past? Share your advice!

Prostate Cancer - Essay Example Significantly, prostate incorporates gland cells that produce some of the seminal fluid and this fluid protects and nourishes sperm cells in semen and supports the ejaculatory ducts, or sperm tubes.
